If a woodland wedding is what you’re after, then Kilminorth seriously ticks all the boxes. Surrounded by a breathtaking 32 acres of magical countryside, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a location. There’s the orchard, wild meadows and the enchanting woods to explore.

It’s no surprise that a large number of our guests choose Kilminorth for its scenery. Cornwall oozes beauty through each of the seasons, which makes it the perfect wedding venue all year round. With several locations to pick around the site no wedding ever looks the same, even if centered around a woodland theme.

The lovely Laura & Eliott chose to get hitched at Kilminorth back in April 2019, and they completely embraced everything that Kilminorth has to offer. They enjoyed a fun-filled and super jampacked three-day celebration. 

They brought their love of the outdoors together with their different cultures to create some utterly gorgeous ethereal magic. They married outside at the Chy Hos surrounded by their friends and family who had gathered from near and far. There was some singing, a woodland walk, and an exceptionally styled marquee for the reception. 

Blending their love of film, food, culture and each other, you can tell from just looking at these images these two truly made the day their own, their personalities bursting through. From confetti to camels, their wedding was colourful, joyous and every detail was thought out. 

The florals were rich autumnal colours inspired also by a native Aussie colour pallette, and had a special focus on both Laura and Elliot’s heritage, combining Eucalyptus, Kangaroo Paw, Craspedia, Banksia, Cornish Blooms and breathtaking Poeteas. 

This wedding was a perfect example of how well a theme can work if you embrace it. Bringing the outdoors in and working with nature to create something utterly beautiful.
